Rapier Gold Inc. is a TSX.V listed gold exploration company focused on exploring the Pen Gold Project, located 75 km south west of Timmins, Ontario, on the Porcupine Destor Fault Zone ("PDFZ").
The PDFZ is one of the most gold productive structures on earth. The Timmins Camp has produced over 72 M oz. of gold, in the past one hundred and ten years, with over 98% of this gold production coming from the north side of the PDFZ.
Rapier's land position, totals over 16,500 ha, and has had very little systematic gold exploration conducted on it, until this consolidation.
The Pen Gold Project, is one of the largest land positions in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of Ontario, and represents the consolidation of three key land parcels;
- 5,600 ha acquired from Rio Tinto plc.,
- 10,848 ha acquired from Rogue Resources, and
- 464 ha optioned from private prospectors.
